TotalMobile are pleased to announce that they have selected Marie Curie cancer Care as their Charity of the Year 2014. Marie Curie provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their homes and in the charity’s hospices in Northern Ireland and across the UK. TotalMobile have pledged to raise £20,000 over the course of the year.
TotalMobile Chief Executive Colin Reid commented “We are delighted to be able to focus this year’s charity efforts on Marie Curie. The charity does excellent work and is close to the hearts of many of our staff; it was a natural choice for our charity of the year. In the past we have raised thousands for the Rwanda appeal and the premature baby unit at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital and we hope that this campaign will be just as successful.”
So far TotalMobile have raised funds through a pancake breakfast and been involved with Marie Curie’s Daffodil Appeal. The rest of the year will see many more events and fundraising initiatives.
